Public Comment: Mooreton Water Improvement Project

Mooreton Residents: At the 1/14/26 council meeting, Interstate Engineering reviewed with us a water improvement project. Our current system has reached a stage where age, reliability concerns, and operational limitations could impact our ability to maintain a safe and dependable potable water supply. The total project is estimated to cost $1,039,000. We received a letter of Loan Forgiveness Fund eligibility from teh DWSRF program in the amount of $779,250. We have also submitted a FIND Application requesting Department of Water Resrouces Cost Share.
